Cold Sassy Tree is resistating all my attempts to enjoy it. I thoroughly want to beat the shit out of every single one of the characters and burn the whole town to the ground.

Sounds like a book I had to read in highschool english class. It was called something-something House, it was so awful the house part was the only thing I could remember about it. Over 300 pages of the most tedious and boring drivel I've ever read, so bad that even my friend's formula filled engineering textbooks are more entertaining!

The recent books I've read include George Orwell's classic "1984" (awesome novel, I really regret not reading it sooner), Michael Moore's "Stupid White Men" (funneh) and thrillers like "Constutional and human rights in Finland" and "Law and juridical methods".

Now I'm working on Dune (so far a fantastic novel), and I'll soon start Antony Beevor's "Berlin - The Downfall 1945".

On my list "books to read" I have:
Dan Simmons' "Hyperion"
Stravo's "StarCrossed" (is it as good as you claim? ;))
David L. Robbins' "War of the Rats"
"Thousands of years ago cats were worshipped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this."

Lots of porn and the mail of the various young ladies I stalk.

Seriously, right now I'm re-reading "The Stainless Steel Rat for President".
