I just picked up some weed last night in exchange for beer.

More on this later.

Mix that with some cider and you have one black, velvety drink!

I've had those before and they are G-R-E-A-T. Ever had a flamming Dr. Peper, not to be mistaken for a flamming Homer?

Best you can get is BEER. Preferably Samuel Adams, but a Killians will do nicely. Rum is freakin awesome in just about everything. A Dr. Feelgood is a personal favorite. I had a Agent Orange once or twice when I was in Okinawa but I have no idea what was in them. If you want to be plowed go for the Alabama Slammer or the Kamikazi. Before you regurgitate it back up drink some white russians, they taste alright on the way back up.

Ahhhh, my six year world bar tour.....I mean my military service. Travel the world, see the people, drink their liquor.

My faves:

Guiness
sake

Ever try a sake bomb? Saw this at a Japanese resturant. Take a cold glass of Japanese beer (Sapporo, Kirin, etc.) and drop a shot glass full of warm sake....then chug the damn thing.

Absinthe....I was also curious about this as well. As asked before, has anyone here tried it? I know we have the "watered down" version here in the US...was wondering just how strong the old school European stuff is.

Oh yeah...I've been wanting to mix something with Mountain Dew Code Red....maybe vodka? Hmmm...... 8)

More on the weed situation. I sold a gram of it to some kid for $20, which is damn good, in my book. I got it for 9 cans of beer, out of a 24-pack which I paid $15 for. Even if I would have given him the whole thing, I would have come out on top!

Here in Belfast we have something like that called a Debth Charge you get a shot of Black Bush, drop it in a Pint and Knock it back, It tastes like a pint of Whiskey and has the same effect.

During the weekend i was on something called Aftershock, good shit. I woke up the next day 4- miles from where i started and my eyes were pink, the same shade as the drink.

well, we dont have the old school stuff either. not enough woodworm for the psychodelic trip it´s supposted to give you. btw it also makes you blind if consumed long enough. so if you need to try it once.

you have to mix the hard stuff yourself:

500 ml Vodka
2 teespoons smashed woodworm
2 teespoons smashed anis
1/2 teaspoons Fenchel (look it up yourself)
4 Kardamomen capsules
1/2 teaspoons ground Koriander
2 teaspoons hacked Angelikawurzel(look this one up yourself as well)

poor vodka over woodworm and let it sit for 2 days. filter out woodworm and put in other ingrediences. let it sit for a week. filter again. drink.

I like
a)beer
b)beer
c)beer
d)more beer
e)original russian vodka. My favorite brand is 'Moskovskaya'.

Btw, at the birthday party of a friend of mine someone brought along 'snake wine' from vietnam. A dead snake was lying in the bottle. Freakish, but not it tasted not bad.

The Irishmick has a strong preference for Jack Daniels. One of his fondest memories goes back to his 21st birthday, when he outlasted one of his best friends in a shot contest, and made him blow chunks in the back seat of another best friend's truck. High comedy.

Ah yes the price you pay for all the fun you have with alcohol.
I used to puke more often when I was younger, but it became less frequent around the time I became 17.

Ah yes, I remember the first time I got drunk in public. Wind Ensemble tour to New Orleans. Hurricanes are GOOOOOOOOOD. I went to stand up when we were leaving and suddenly found myself on the floor. I thought it was quite funny. A tuba player picked me up and carried me out to the street. I was then escorted by a barritone player and someone else back to the hotel. I proceeded to take two aspirin and drink a large amount of water. I was rooming with a grad student and two juniors. I had the dry heaves for most of the night.

Now, when we got back to campus after the trip, I found out that the person who got flat out drunk started the rumor that I was more drunk than she and threw up all night. That was complete bullshit.
The reason I got so drunk? I only had popcorn to eat and drank one and a half hurricanes. A third of one in about 30 minutes and finished the rest in 10. I felt goooooood!

Bacardi 151 and Coke.
Any cheap tequilla straight up--no salt, no lime.
Vodka straight up, but only ice cold.
Southern Comfort and....well, usually, more Southern Comfort.

On a side note, I've decided I'm opposed to drinking games. "Fill the glass and drink it" should be the only drinking game you need.

First time drunk stroies always are great. Mine occured on campus. It was a Thursday night and I didn't have class the next morning. Some of the guys acrossthe hall were downign Absolut Citron and I stopped in. They convinced me to join in (once upon a time I was a reluctant drinker). Upon doing so they proceeded to pour me a double, right before I downed it they suddenly realized...i needed a chaser. In a fit of brilliance someone suggested me chasing one double of Citron with ANOTHER double of Citron (which of course would need to be repeated). Somewhat hesitant I agreed and somewhere about the 4th double I realized that I was probably going to be pretty drunk...when I ran into the wall standing still a half minute later I got confirmation.
