No. I've been trying but can't remember anything. Nothing on par with some of the other stuff in this thread, at least. I've had my fair share of small stuff, like cutting myself while slicing tomatoes, but nothing really big.

You never made an ass out of yourself or postured in any way in the vain hope that this would impress women? Even when you were a teenager? I find this hard to believe. It is a common stupidity of all men.

Back in High School (right after the fall of Communism) I was TAing in one of the dumbell US history classes. We were discussing something about China. One of the students asks, "Isn't that where they tore down the wall?"

This is supposed to be about your own stupidity (or that of people you know), not the stupidity of others that you don't really know. Although I'll certainly agree that the kid in question was clearly too stupid to live.

And I remembered something stupid which I did when I was in second grade. I was over at a neighbor's house playing with a friend. We were jumping off a sawhorse and grabbing onto the end post of a clothesline, pulling the sawhorse back a bit farther each time. I pulled it back a bit too far, jumped off, and found a concussion on the concrete below.

Pretty much...I can remember doing one thing that was stupid when I was a kid, but that's about it...

My brother, my cousin and I were jumping on a 2-ft tall footstool. I fell of and fractured my left arm.

Other than that, I joined track my sophomore year of high school.

One time when I was a little kid (just learned to read) I went up to a fire alarm in a mall, it said Pull, so I did.

Then there was a time (also when I was a little kid) that I climbed an advertisement stand that reached to the ceiling in a department store, I got halfway up when it fell over with me on it.

My brother and I were going after my dad as he was raking leaves. As he'd fill the bag we'd small it with our lawn tools. Thing is, I stood to close when my brother swung the shovel and he caught me with it on the head. It cut up my head pretty good. I had to get 9 stiches and I still have the scar.

I don't remember doing it, but when I was still in a carseat, I somehow manages o undo the carseat, open the car door and fall out. I have a nasty scar on the back of my head from that.

No, not me. I can flirt with a girl and still keep control. Several members of my dorm, however....

Well, I put this to you: A big group of us went to a dance club a few weeks ago. I decided to hook up with a sassy brunette, while a friend of mine went after a cute blond. Anyway, we're all on the edge of the dance floor taking a break. I've gotten into a conversation about the idiocy of politics with the brunette, while my buddy is flirting with the blond. Suddenly, he tries to kiss her.

She doesn't take this too well, and smacks him across the face. Ouch. This leads me and the brunette into another conversation about flirting, which slowly leads to us flirting ourselves, and we end up going back to her room.

Game over, intellectual approach beats the passionate one.
