Ooh, yeah, forgot to put you on my list...percussionists have to stick together, since we get no respect from the rest of the band.
I was in percussion in my senior year of High School for marching band.

I was in the band in High School, of course I marched. There's a pic in my Jr. Yearbook of me marching. But, where I went to college, we didn't have a marching band. We have no football team.

Old enough to know better and young enough not to care.

The best we can loan out to you right now is Wilkens. He's housebroken and won't take up much space but just remember to keep his coffee cup full.

Kelly, that is so cool! What did you play? I did pit all four years of high school marching band.

I love bagpipes. There's a guy at the Renaissance Festival that plays so well. He's awesome. Amazing Grace always makes me cry on pipes.

Central NC. Nags Head is beautiful. It's quite serene at the northern beaches.

Me too! Played vibes, xylo, and marimba my freshman year, timpani sophomore, timps and marimba junior, and marimba senior. And let me tell you, playing Hoedown with two people on one marimba is dangerous...I broke my hand when the other person nailed me on accident.

Xylephone. Man, those damn things were HEAVY! But, it was better than marching with a bass.

Thanks for the wishes, Phil. :)

Zaia & Dark: We didn't have a big band, so no pit for us. We all marched, well, until we got set and the bells and I got to set up on stands at the 45.

should have switched to sax or bass clarinet. That's what I did. Getting into a smaller group is much better.

I would wish to meet three of you on this board and they are:
Weemadando
The Dark
IG-88E

The first two have experience in Aikido and I would mind practicing with them and maybe slapping on a wrist lock or two...
IG-88E is a martial artist too and from what I have read, quite decorated. An extreme streetfight brawl would be necessary upon our meeting after we size each other up! :) That plus IG-88E has a healthy obsession for Aria!

Just because of the percussionist bit, this must be said:

If you are in a band, and can't play your instrument well enough, they take it away, give you two sticks, and make you the drummer. If you can't do that well enough, they take away one of your sticks and make you the conductor. ;)

I'd like to meet most of the people here, or at least be able to put people to the names. Of course, anyone who can claim allegience to any of the points in my Sig gets automatic promotion to a higher priority. Bonus points if you have studied the Kama Inertia. 8)
