Within a relatively short time he was on his way of becoming one the wealthiest young entrepreneurs in St. Petersburg. He ruthlessly expanded his business, played with the stocks and eliminated the competition - not by violence, but manipulation. He spent his weekends under the pulsating lights of night clubs, dancing to the beat of the latest Eurohit and desperately attempting to gain interest from members of the opposite sex.
One evening, after having consumed a bit too many glasses of Vodka, Anton got into a brawl with another customer at one of his favorite clubs. His nose broken and bleeding, he quickly left the club. At least the other guy would not be feeling so good in the next morning with a broken rib, he thought.
As he was walking down the Nevski Prospekt, he got the feeling that he was being followed. Slowly increasing his pace, he turned to dark alley hoping to escape. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his head and he fell on the cold asphalt. Then his vision blacked out.
He woke up in a ragged Soviet-era apartment, sitting on a wooden chair, his hands and feet tied together. He started to feel nauseous. After a while, a burly man entered the room. Anton recognized him as the friend of the guy he had met at club.
"Nobody fucks with my friends," the man said and revealed nasty-looking knuckles. Anton had never felt so much pain in his life. The beating continued on hours, or at least it seemed so.
Before eternal darkness consumed Anton Menschikoff, he hoped that it all would end soon.
"You are finally awake, my childe," said an unknown male voice that Anton did not recognize. It was calm and somehow soothing. The pain in his body was gone and he felt revived. How was it possible?
Anton forced his eyes open.
Another man, a well-dressed elder gentleman, stood before the lifeless corpse of the man from the club. He smiled mischievously. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sergei Ivanovits . . ."
Anton learned that he had been embraced to the Clan Ventrue of the Camarilla. His sire, Sergei Ivanovits, had brought him back from the dead. Anton took the news cautiously, and at first he had hard time coming into terms with what he had become. Gradually he even began to like it. In any case it was better than the real death he would have otherwise faced.
The following years he spent under the watchful eye of his sire, helping him and the elders of the St. Petersburg region in various small tasks. When the brutal assasination of a local Primogen was linked to an Assamite, who had been earlier in a close contact with Anton's sire, the situation changed suddenly. Anton had never thought that Ivanovits (who denied any claims that he had had any part in the assasination) was an angel, but this was still a big surprise for him. From this point on he would be more careful when handling Ivanovits' business.
To avoid potential problems, Anton and his sire quietly moved to United States, a country full of endless possibilities . . .
Appearance:
Anton has a dark brown hair that he usually keeps cut short and a goatee. Despite his Russian roots, he looks more Germanic than Slavic. He is approximately 170 cm tall and of medium build. At the time of his embracement he was thirty years old. Anton likes to wardrobe himself in stylish, yet practical clothes.

I'm not sure about 10th, 5th generation I think iis methusula level age and methusula's have been alive (no pun intended) for thousands of year, but I'm not all together sure how the generations work anyway

I thought the thirds were wiped out, or was that the seconds, I know one of the two were wiped out by war and the other became the antideluvians, the methusulas were 4-5 or 4-6...

Beyond the base line for a newborn? Yes, A character gets some relative to their age. Depending on whether or not you took that into account yes. Don't use my character's point values as a baseline, he's not. Appearance: Mid-40s, bookish looking fellow, generally wears a crinkled and creased old brown suit.
Position in Vampire society: High ranked amongst the Brujah of the city, but many of the younger Brujah lack respect for him as he sticks to the old ways of knowledge and learning. Due to his position and age he is one of THE authorities on Vampire lore in the area (continental US) and as such holds an important position in the minds of the other clans. He is frequently courted by the Tremere who seek to learn more from him and has an established friendship with a wandering Malkav with whom he shares insights when they meet (Again, I'll leave it up to you, Kelly, as to what to do with this).
Biography: Born in 1593 in London, England, Oswald was born into an upper class family with strong connections to the banking trade. On his 14th birthday he was sent to Florence with his father in order to further learn the banking trade from the greatest in Europe. While there he was placed in tutelage with a scholar who was a master of the old classical works. Spending many hours a day learning from this old master he quickly became more and more interested in the ancient texts. After a year he became fluent in the ancient languages and was accepted into the University at Florence. His father returned to England disappointed that his son was not a banker, but proud that he was doing something academic.
After several years the old master disappeared and was not heard of again. Oswald took his place at the University and continued to teach. Slowly he became aware of quirks in the old masters journals and collections. Over many years he uncovered a vast wealth of material on vampire lore buried within the professors collections. Poring over this material he gained a vast knowledge of the history of the vampire race and became intrigued as to its customs.
His curiousity aroused the interest of the Brujah within the University, who gained permission from the Prince of the city for the embrace. In 1631 he was embraced by Giovanni Rabillia, a fellow scholar a the University, though one specialising in biology and physiology.
For the next 200 years the small group of Brujah toured Europe's centres of learning, taking their precious collections with them as they moved from city to city as their cover faded. Eventually the small coterie broke up as new theories caused "academic conflicts" between them. Finding his way to the new lands of North America Oswald settled in Boston, working in the university there for a period of time he met a Malkav with whom he developed a friendship. Meeting every few years they would exchange tales of their travels.
In 1992 the Malkav told him of a professor in New Orleans who had displayed an amazing knowledge of the Classics and who was also on their deathbed. Sensing an opportunity Oswald went to New Orleans and was quickly hired by the University. Moving his enormous collection of documents and manuscripts to the new University he quickly gained a reputation as a night owl and a book worm. Rarely lecturing and constantly deep within the archives he has lived within the University for the past 10 years without suspicion.

Figured I might as well join the party. This is a revised and expanded version of the character I sent to Kelly.
A summary for those who don't want to read the full bio:
He's a misanthropic young adult who fucks up his life and gets picked up by the Nosferatu. The charater is intelligent and can use his hands.
Now, for the unabridged version:
Alfred D. Ellis was brought up an only child in the Illinois town of Belleville. His father worked as a locksmith while his mother was a homemaker. As a child he spurned the company of the other kids, preferring to associate with the grownups. This preference drew taunts and lasting resentment from his peers. He grew up mostly friendless.
In adolescence Alfred became yet more disaffected with those around him. In high school he learned that the teachers, whom he had previously looked up to, were almost as stupid as their students. He lost interest in school, turning to independent studies instead. His parents didn't look kindly at his plummeting grades, so Alfred took to avoiding them as much as possible. He spent most of his time reading in the seclusion of the former Stag Brewery or the several closed foundries around town. Despite his budding estrangement with his parent society, Alfred still felt bound by its conventions. That is why he waited until he was eighteen before finally abandoning his home.
Looking back, Alfred realizes that he prepared himself poorly for his future life. Few good careers were open to uncredentialed drifters, no matter how brilliant they thought they were. Alfred wandered from town to town in generally southern direction. He was being watched on these sojourns. Groups of Nosferatu serially monitored his progress. Alfred met his shadow in New Orleans, a tenth generation Nosferatu named Marcel Pierpont.
By that time Alfred 's situation was desparate. He was weak from hunger and disease while at the same time the Gulf abruptly ended his journey. Alfred had no hope and no place to go. Marcel solved both of his problems. Just after Alfred was Embraced he felt completely renewed. For the first time in months his body didn't ache, his limbs had no tremors, and he felt more vigorous then than ever before in his life. Marcel had told truth, and Alfred did not begrudge the grotesqueries he gained with his new life. He found a place that he could live in.
Alfred was Embraced fairly recently. He know the basics of survival as a vampire but the finer point of Kindred society escape him. Within the clan he does mundane mechanical work.
Now for stats. These might need tweeking.

He's a misanthropic young adult who fucks up his life and gets picked up by the Nosferatu. The charater is intelligent and can use his hands.
Now, for the unabridged version:
Alfred D. Ellis was brought up an only child in the Illinois town of Belleville. His father worked as a locksmith while his mother was a homemaker. As a child he spurned the company of the other kids, preferring to associate with the grownups. This preference drew taunts and lasting resentment from his peers. He grew up mostly friendless.
In adolescence Alfred became yet more disaffected with those around him. In high school he learned that the teachers, whom he had previously looked up to, were almost as stupid as their students. He lost interest in school, turning to independent studies instead. His parents didn't look kindly at his plummeting grades, so Alfred took to avoiding them as much as possible. He spent most of his time reading in the seclusion of the former Stag Brewery or the several closed foundries around town. Despite his budding estrangement with his parent society, Alfred still felt bound by its conventions. That is why he waited until he was eighteen before finally abandoning his home.
Looking back, Alfred realizes that he prepared himself poorly for his future life. Few good careers were open to uncredentialed drifters, no matter how brilliant they thought they were. Alfred wandered from town to town in generally southern direction. He was being watched on these sojourns. Groups of Nosferatu serially monitored his progress. Alfred met his shadow in New Orleans, a tenth generation Nosferatu named Marcel Pierpont.
By that time Alfred 's situation was desparate. He was weak from hunger and disease while at the same time the Gulf abruptly ended his journey. Alfred had no hope and no place to go. Marcel solved both of his problems. Just after Alfred was Embraced he felt completely renewed. For the first time in months his body didn't ache, his limbs had no tremors, and he felt more vigorous then than ever before in his life. Marcel had told truth, and Alfred did not begrudge the grotesqueries he gained with his new life. He found a place that he could live in.
Alfred was Embraced fairly recently. He know the basics of survival as a vampire but the finer point of Kindred society escape him. Within the clan he does mundane mechanical work.
