I joined SB.com outta curriosity, i am very dissapointed with it. It's full of 14yo homophobes, and the ppl who found SD.net to intelectual. In short any of the members there woth knowing are here and the same with the threads. They were reduced to piting th defiant against ONE tie fighter to get an even ST -v- SW debate.

A lot the level of discussion depends on the subjects debated. In general the noise to conversation level is lower but that's to be expected on such a large board. There have been some good discussions there.

As a cross posted I can state for a fact that MANY of the good SB.com posters do not come over here. I can also state for a fact that there are good threads over there that do not come over here.

And you can knock off the ST bashing and SB bashing with that VS debate example. Those same threads happen to exist over here as well.

Actually I have emailed with her on occasion.

I also I tend to stick to the more Civilized forums.

And defiant and Alsaka's actions that led to her temp banning last year were Trolling pure and simple.

Let me put it to you this way.

She went around in any trek related thread and went on a trek-bashing spree. This went on for a little over a year. Then she went on a 'vacation' and came back. Then there was the fallout with her and Defiant. They both got temp banned and were ordered to ignore eachother. Defiant ignored her the best he good, but she never kept up her end of the bargain and IIRC was banned AGAIN. She makes an ass of herself at every opportunity, so tell me, who's the troll here? Rocketwhore or Defiant?

Trolling? You mean when RG butted into ST threads and insulted people for being Trekkies I was trolling? You mean when she used the term "Trekists" because it was degarding because it was like being called a rapist, I was trolling? RG is a fucking bitch and she got what she deserved.
