Just for fun, the word "user" has been replaced on the front page with "flamewarrior". "Hidden" users are now "Cloaked" users, and "Guests" are now "Lurkers". Just FYI.

Noticed that today, thought I had just been blind and this wasn't new at all so I decided to not seem foolish and put up a thread asking about it.

I noticed it just a few seconds back while I was surfing the index. I think it sounds kind of lame. But that's just my opinion.

Hadn't noticed that yet, but I did think I'd gone crazy when I saw the Pure Star Trek forum pop up. Screw with my mind, will ya?!

Makes a nice touch and gives a more "personal" touch to the place.

Just an idea. SB.com has a few other changes that make the place fun.

Rather then "Welcome to Spacebattles Alyeska", it says "Oh, its you again Alyeska".

Rather then "Weclome our newest member, (insert name)", it says "Get the poking stick out for (insert name)"

Just saying you can have a little fun and play with the sayings.

I noticed that, Mike. That's a great way to add a little variety to the board.

Two things: We should come up with something snappy for registered users.

Second: don't do poking. That's what they have over at SB.com. We must be original. We are the better board, after all.

Considering the caliber of most of the newbies who've arrived here lately, I'd go for shooting rather than poking.

In an earlier "no poking" thread, Stravo suggested butt-pluggings instead. Can't you just see the look on some poor son of a bitch's face when "Get out the butt plug for Mike_6002" pops up on the screen?

If it says "Sheppard we know where you live" I'll have figured things either got funny, or went too far.

What would be cool is an insult ninja style thing that flips through different sayings (like "Colin, get a life" or "Shep, we know where you sleep"). Of course, we'd need more sayings, so feel free to ignore this idea .
