Why should we? Depending on your calendar, New Years either has already gone by or is still months away.

WTF is SAD?

"Either God wants to abolish evil, and cannot; or he can, but does not want to. ... If he wants to, but cannot, he is impotent. If he can, but does not want to, he is wicked. ... If, as they say, God can abolish evil, and God really wants to do it, why is there evil in the world?" -Epicurus

Yeah, all the local shops and supermarkets have them round here, as well as those Galaxy truffle eggs - time to see if I can't get that diabetes I've heard so much about. :D

Heck, 19 years of living so far and no major sugar related illness or side-effect, though I did have to go to the orthodontist to geta brace or two a few years back. But that's the British way. :P

I think the Scots have the right idea with deep-fried Mars bars and chips. Just saying that makes my arteries cry.

I've had them in the States, *shrug* they didn't seem all that special, if anything they were kind of yucky.

Last time I was over, I bought a Kit-kat, bit into and tried to work out where they had hidden the flavour of the chocolate! Seriously the thing had a sort of non-taste compared the the UK version, very lacking in essential sugars. :)

Sounds like a fat free, sugar free and therefore taste free candy bar in the US. Quick, get the Fat Brigade on the job! :D

How dare they market such healthy alternatives, I wanna die from chocolate, dammit!

The problem is, their idea of chocolate is, well, bland. :( And in a nation where a doughnut gets coated in enough sugar to sink a ship, that's unforgivable; and the lack of taste in their Crisps is appalling.
