For your information, I only lock:

1. Spamfests;
2. Threads which have fulfilled their purpose;
3. Threads which have evolved into flamewars.

All this is listed in the board policy post or the announcements forum.

If you've noticed I rarely lock your news post threads.

You know, Dalton, you can split stuff and then delete/lock the splitoff...
