They reckon sulfur, quicklime, and liquid petroleum, but other than that they are unsure.

Maybe the secret ingredient was people.

When exactly did napalm get invented? I mean the year...

On a completely related note, when did K-Y jelly get invented? How similar is it to napalm?

Napalm entered service in 1944; though it was little used until 1945 against Japan. Its invention was probably that same year.

The creation of greek fire was so long ago, they'll be lucky if they can pin it down to a certain decade.

What exactly is K-Y Jelly? I want to know because I put it on my toast this morning.

Also, I say we bake a cake for this celebration.

Napalm was, according to my source, invented in america in 1941 but needed extensive testing before it could be safely used. If thats not a no-brainer.

An interesting thing I learned about napalm on the history channel is that it was also some times used in flame throwers.

Napalm = jelly-like petroleum by-product

K-Y jelly = jelly-like petroleum by-product.

Hence my question.

Maybe we should leave the KY-jelly and burning out, before Wong descends upon us.

I do remember him saying that he uses Astro-glide in another thread somewhere, probably an anal sex related one.

I don't know if KY burns but I have read a Trek pornfic where Geordi accidentally orders "KY Jelly, broiled". :D

The Greek fire was invented by a Syrian architect
named Kallinikos during the Byzantine period (around 673 AD).
