At the minimum you need a post count of 2000 and to have made a significant contribution to the board. A custom title is a reward.

Some others mods and Great Old Ones of the board have custom titles with less posts but they're an exception not the rule.

There are three ways:

1. Make a significant contribution ot the board, like becoming a mod or something.

2. Become a well-known member, with a 4-digit post count.

3. Spam, flame, and spount nonsense, and you should get a VI title in no time, but I'm sure you wouldn't want to do that.

It almost was, but some people argued that the JCM title is something to be earned, and then you can look to earn a custom title.

Hell, I can't get a custom title yet. Ask again when you get a lil more than 2000 posts.

Wasn't this issue put in a sticky or in the FAQ sometime ago?

The only people with low post counts who get custom titles are mods and people who have helped me out with my website (eg- Rob Wilson, Brian Young, Lord Poe, etc).

Apart from that, there is only one person who would get a custom title right off the bat, and she doesn't plan to register.
