I'd say no, it doesn't give me any problems, and it does make you... recognisable

I admit it is annoyingly large to me. Could you reduce its size by half in each dimension without losing effect?

I think you should get rid of it. It makes me drag my cursor all the way over to the side every time you post even a few words, and then scroll down. I'm too lazy to enjoy doing that, even though it does look marginally cool.

It is either too large or it is posted too often. Reduce one and leave the other.
