Accidents for some reason seem to be more tragic to me than combat losses.
Im not sure why.

Probably because they were lost for nothing. My condolences to the wives and friends of those Marines.

Your probably right. I also have a friend who is a Marine reservist so deaths occuring to Marines has some personal meaning.

Damnit, don't talk to me about death. I lost my only uncle a few days ago
and believe me, it was bad. I spent more time with him than my dad, and he was a simply great guy. I tell ya, I still cry every now and then.
So, only happy threads from now on please. But condolences to the Marines' families.

Sorry to hear that you lost an uncle Tyco. Im sorta an unoffical "uncle" now. I hope I can be a good one. I will try to find good threads from now on about stupid people hurting themselves. :)
