GAAAHHH!! That incision looks horrible! Poor little thang. Is she eating well? Drinking enough water? Does she seem to be acting herself?

She is a black eyed albino ferret. Did she have adrenal surgery Shep? I take it she's doing fine. She looks very healthy otherwise.
Oh, on a related note, we got a new one yesterday. He's HUGE compared to my others. About 3yrs old, just fixed and his name is Bacardi... named by students in the School of Veterinary Medicine at NCSU. They use them for small animal classes.

I wasn't around when the first thread went up, Shep, so I'd just like to extend my warm wishes to you and Christina. Keep her well, and I hope she's doing better.

Her Stomach incision looks bad. If she was mine I wouldn't touch her because I would be to worried to mess her stomach up. Glad to hear that she is doing alright.

NO HE DID NOT HURT HER!
Mark, actually respects dogs and ferrets more then he does most people.
She choked on carpeting that she had somehow gotten ahold of.
Immediatly causing my mind to think very wrong puns when I heard that.
I mean I thought my cat's hairballs were bad....
or
Great now we know Shep has a lesbian ferret...
Yes, I know I am horrible, I plead over exposure to ASVS & SDN & various Netizens, but then again I was exhibiting wacked behaviour before I showed up at either place. Now if I hadn't been banned from Cyberpsychos for being too tame.....

Don't be a jackass.
The poor little thing had something caught in it's throat and it required surgery to remove it.

I know what that's like my cat nearly died of a liver disease and had to be fed through a tube in his stomach for several weeks before he got better.

Bah, I'd no more spend that much money treating an animal than I would treating a retarded person. Just toss them both in a cage, and as long as you hear howling you know they're still alive.
(I know, I know! Prawn, you monster! Look, once in a while I think of something so evil that I can't help but post it, whether I really believe it or not. I mean, I would never treat an animal as badly as a retard. Bwa ha ha.)

Oh my god, what happened to your dog?
Kidding, kidding! She really is an adorable ferret and I sincerely hope she gets better and heals soon.
Tell ya what, I'll go out and buy IL-2 Sturmovik in her honor as soon as I can.

*chuckle* She's like one I had once. Eats anything she can get her paws on. Poor ferrets can't digest a lot of things. Screws their stomachs up like crazy. But, she'll recover. Take care of her, Shep.

Cute little critter, then again, most felinoid creatures tend to be rather cute in my eyes... Looks like she had a similar issue as my mom's mastiff, eats everything and the kitchen sink and stuff got stuck. (Darned dog got clogged with rocks once, yes, you read that right, a friggin' POUND of peagravel she grazed from the splash guards around the house. Then there was the several pairs of socks, some gloves, 2 shoes, and 4 packaged string cheeze things...)
Hopefully everything'll go ok with her.
Oh, and Shep, don't feed your ferret foam rubber, it's as bad for them as it is for you. Besides, foam rubber gives one gas rather badly.
