I'll believe it when I [1] See it on the store shelves [2] Install and play it without any massive bugs popping up that need 50 meg patches to correct.

Dammit, I want my attack ships on Fire off the Sholder of Orion (Perferably by the gaint scorpion ship)
I want C-Beams glittering in the Dark at Tannhouser Gate. (Just have to rename some system that just for the effect)
I want to build up my vogon constructer fleet (Stellar Converters in action, pardon our dust)

and I want these things NOW

Hate to tell you ... but you can't rename systems.

Just a few quick notes about the game:
You can get the Antarans to fight your wars for you (with very good diplomacy).
The battles are in realtime. You don't tell each single ship what to do, rather you give general orders (ie you are commander/admiral NOT ship captain, gunner, engineer, and whatever else of every ship)
The Galaxy is NOT 2D anymore, but 3D.
There are spacelanes.
You don't have to tell every single colony what to do, rather you can make 'rules' which the respective leader of each colony wil try to follow.

/me is excited :p

I'm especially excited about the new spacebattles. None of this stupid bunch of ships in a line- there are actual task forces made up of dozesn of ships, add them all up and you have starfleets of hundreds duking it out.

Ship design is just as involved as in the previous games- you can rename your classes the works IIRC.

I wonder if you can play the game as the race of galactic alien pimps that the MoOIII link shows. :P
