Being the first look at the accual CGI of the hulk yet, I'm glad to say, they are following the tradition started by Sam Rami and Spiderman and staying true to the comics. The hulk looks almost cartoonish but not really out of place if you get what I mean.
Hopefully it will be good.

That was bad ass, I love what spiderman has done to the comicbook movie industry. It proved you could be true to the comicbooks and still look cool. Look at Hulk and Daredevil(but not Kingpin, THEY MADE HIM BLACK!). My biggest gripe about the X-Men movies were they all look alike in the black leather outfits.

Yeah, but it's better than spandex...but what's wrong with a black Kingpin? Ving Rhames is huge enough and mean-looking enough to pull it off convincingly.

Kingpin wasn't large, he was a FUCKING BLIMP! Thats what made the fact that he has 4% body fat and could hold his own against spiderman a great twist. Sorta of a moment that makes you go "HOLY SHIT!" in a room full of 30 kids and their stressed out parents. But the guy they got for Kingpin is large an muscular. Also the whole thing about making the leader of a large crime signicant a black guy. I'm sure a group of people would of been pissed off if they made him italian.

It's not Ving Rhames. It's Michael Clark Duncan, from The Green Mile and The Scorpion King.

The website has the spot up if anyone missed it.

Okay, they got the Hulk looking right. Now I just hope the script holds up the way Spider-Man's did.

You can't make a guy look like the kingpin. He's fat and he's muscle both. Your choices for Kingpin are either Michael Clark Duncan or Cartmen.
Marvel President Bill Jemas is writing a book called Marville, and in answer to the race issue he made the Kingpin look like Spike Lee for his book. It was the only joke that worked out of 32 pages (okay, I did chuckle a little at the sight of Rush Limbaugh flying in on a golden microphone).

Oh there's more going on than that. Fantastic Four is coming, Spider-Man 2, Blade 3, and discussion of Ghost Rider, Werewolf By Night, Punisher, Iron Fist, and more. There's even talk of Snipes doing Black Panther (a great comic, BTW).
And for non-Marvel, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is coming out later this year (featuring Sean Connery as Alan Quartermain).

It's not Mavel doing movies all of the sudden. It's Marvel getting back to the movies, and they just happen to have a steam roller that is allowing them to crank shows out in secession like this. Punisher had a film I think towards the end of the 80s. Lungren or whoever He-man/Russian boxer in Rocky's name is. They had to let the Batman bullshit die down. If they didnt' and the movies tanked it would be over for them as they had filed bankruptcy not too long ago. However, Daredevil is Feb 14. Hulk June 20 and X-Men 2 is in May I believe. The bartender earlier said he looked fake, my cousin said he looked fake, but I have uber hope for this movie now. I mean, how do you make a fucking Hulk movie? The old shows were alright, but not spectacular. Neither were the TV movies. This one is going to take it. Daredevil is going to blow everything out of the fucking water, and X-Men 2 is going to give us what we want. Ass kicking, adamantium style. Snickt!!!

Spiderman has been in and out of production since 1984. I remember reading Variety in film school when Cannon was going to make it.

If he was still alive, I would suggest John Candy as the Kingpin

Connery as Quartermain all right that would be awesome, geez it looks like Marvel is going Hollywood my hope is it would not be butchered like the last Batman movies
