Top Gear Season 10 Discussion

The Cocking About has returned.
In a hunt for the greatest driving road in the world, Clarkson pissed the others off with his choice of locations and hotel, while May was forced to admit he chose the completely the wrong car.
The also blames 5th Gear for burning down their set.

Of course the real questions have yet to be answered. How many times will Hammond crash, and how long must we wait before Clarkson blows something up.

I was just about to start this thread. :D

My housemates are Top Gear mad so I ended up watching my first complete episode of Top Gear.

And it was surprising enjoyable. What with Jeremy Clarkson being a jingoistic little twit and all. Still the 5th Gear burning down their set bit was a laugh, as was everyone swearing alot at Clarkson in italy. Did anyone recognised the music playing in their jaunt around Switzerland? It seemed really familiar.

They're always so mean to James May, bless him. K. Nob indeed! Hahah, what a shame.

I don't get the BBC :(. I do check the show out on youtube whenever I get the chance though. It is indeed a good program.

By now we must all know it will be 'not very long at all'.

The Series trailer at the start makes it seem that this 'uns going to rawk.

Now, who wants to race a Typhoon, eh?

How are they going to top the Reliant Robin Space Shuttle though? I thought that was awesome.

I personally thought Helen Mirren calling Clarkson a dickhead was worth quite a large percentage of the license fee, hehe

For those in desperate need, or for that matter, Canada, the whole episode is on YT: Ta Da

Oh yes. Another point: Is Clarksons and May's hair contagious? The hamster's hair is going bizarre!

It's a cover of In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins, done by a band called Nonpoint. It's off the Miami Vice soundtrack.

Oh, and James May in his keks. I could've lived without seeing that

Too bad about the Cool Wall. I hope they get it back up and running by next week.

Don't think so: they're going on an African trip. "I am the road warrior..."

Torrenting as we speak. I will comment once I've watched it. Top Gear is the sort of show that if I couldn't torrent it I'd be tempted to move to England just so I could watch it...

Are there any Brits who know more about the fire? I guess it wasn't news enough to trickle down here.

I barely heard about it, either. I'll go digging later...

Edit: Something found. Autotrader

Figure I'll just make this the discussion thread for this season instead of a new one every week.
So, beginning in about 5 minutes;
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May revisit their attempt to build amphibious cars, and are faced with one of their toughest challenges yet. The Audi R8 takes to the track and Jools Holland tests his driving ability as the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

Well we know how the challenge ends, but we still get to laugh and criinge and the (lack of) thought which went into the decisions.
