As I said in another thread, I went to the beach sunday and got a bit sunburnt. Also, the temperature today averaged 24ºC all afternoon.

That's why we don't work much in Portugal. The weather forces us to have fun.

I'm in Ottawa. It's basically Toronto Lite: Twice the cold, half the interesting things to do.

Since this is a 'Canadian cold' thread, I have to ask this: Do ANY other guys who live in this kind of frozen climate have 'heavily-dressed-chick' vision?

What I mean by that is - I notice that guys turn their head to look at (read: stare at) good looking women in the summer, when it's hot and bathing suits are regular attire in parks. But I have also noticed that guys can - and I do not know how we do this - identify hot women under thirty pounds of body-concealing coat, head-concealing hat, face-concealing scarf, etc. Women can look like migrating clothing racks, but guys can STILL stare and immediately know every curve and shape of her body. I know I can, and I don't know why. It's not like we can see ANYTHING other than a bell-shaped furball with thick boots sticking out the bottom.

Do any of you other cold-weather guys notice this?
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.

Oh, shut up. It's much warmer than it was over the weekend and last week.

-20 air temperature w/ -30 windchill, for those who don't know. Celcius.

I live in the land of long winter nights and uggly winter clothes.

Every chick have heavy clothes, boots and a cap.

And being at 59-60 degrees northen lattitude means that the fucking sun rises at 10.00 and settles at 14.00

Darknes snow and chicks in uggly clothes.. Wonder why the suicide rate is way up in winter...

Quit whining, it ain't cold until it gets down to at least 30C below with the windchill in the 40-50C below 0 region. I spent a year in Ottawa where it was cold enough that you could feel your nose hairs freeze when you breathe with your nose. This "cold" we had was nothing, it use to be like this every day when I was a kid until the recent El Nino shit screwed up all the weather patterns.

Seriously, when it's -5, thats when I put a jacket on. Long pants and a sweat shirt are fine down to -5, then a fleece. Heck, it was -49 in Montreal last week.

After years of mild winters, Western PA has finally gotten a good one, and it has dipped below zero at times. I hope it gets colder.

Lag: I know a bunch of people who cannot see the beauty through the clothing.

I'd say those guys have problems mentally undressing the girls! :P

I find it's quite easy to do, though maybe it's because I've got a much more vivid imagination, who knows?

Pussy. It warmed up to -10 degrees this morning. I didn't even bother buttoning my jacket! When I drove home, it was almost up to freezing point!

It's pretty cold outside now I usually try to avoid walking much. The wind chill seems to have gone down a bit but what do I know I had the flu a few days ago.
