Just curious to see what other SD.net denizens plan on dressing up as for the upcoming holiday.

Anyways, originally it was going to be simple combat fatigues, but now I'm going as the Pope. It'll definitely stand out in a crowd, unfortunately I don't have any pics of it to show atm.

If you really want to stand out in a crowd you should dress up as zombie Jesus.

Nah, I already have the costume, but it does give me an idea for next year.

Seeing as I recently became the owner of a scythe, I think it's only fitting that I am either the grim reaper, an amish man, or an amish grim reaper.

Afraid not. But the rosary does come with temporary ones. :)

Wait, is this some actual kit that you bought or something?

I myself will be going as the Joker, after improving my costume and makeup technique.

I'm dusting off the old uniform, and preparing for my return from my hiatus from reenacting, as I dress up as a Union soldier.

British explorer. I already have the pith helmet, I just need to find a safari jacket or something similar. I'm planning on making a visit to a local military surplus store to see if they have something I can use.

Trying to find one of them tshirts with the muscles printed on it. Then I'm finding some skin colour tights to go over warm pants. A red cape, and a sword, and a speedo, and some gel on my face later, I am:

of SPARTAAA!

If I manage to find a costume, the Black Night. Otherwise, I'll think of something.

I had hoped to pull off Indiana Jones, but I've been too busy to put serious time and energy into it; I'l probably save it for Memorial Day and the release of the fourth film. So, in the meantime, I'll probably pull out my Bleach Kisuke Urahara costume from this year's San Jose Fanime Convention or combine various costumes to try something different.

Does anyone know where one could get a reasonably priced white suit, with white pants, white shoes, and a wide-label pastel-coloured shirt? I'm thinking of going for the Scarface look.

Tried checking on ebay? They have a ton of costume dealers, and seem to have some Scarface stuff available too. Some of the sellers offer customization according to your specific measurements for extra.

Thanks to my sis, I have a full-length White Mage Robe.

Unfortunately, she's still working on the BlackMage outfit. All we have is the Hat.

I don't know how good of luck you'd have with the actual suit jacket, but you can often find pants and shirts in thrift stores (do you guys have Goodwill up there?) for this sort of thing.
