I was hoping that you folks knew of a site where I can check his claims about the economy and GNP (I checked the UN website, but it's a nightmare).

Ok, this is the response I currently have in mind...

I am currently verifying your claims about Zimbabwe’s economic state, though my immediate reaction is one of trepidation. So far this search has led to me to this, http://www.polisci.com/almanac/economics/fifty.htm. Most interesting that your claim about Zimbabwe’s economy being the 8th largest is false. I wonder what else is false. However, I can speak about your claims about ‘trouble makers’ right now. Racism is the ill-treatment, discrimination of, or abuse of (both verbally and physically) of someone of a differing colour or ethnic group to yourself. Racism cuts both ways, and the actions of land-grabbers who kick farmers and their families off their land is nothing more than racist. The attacks, the beatings of those who seek to stay in their homes, even murder… policies endorsed by the government of Zimbabwe, and policies that are racist. If those farmers were black, would they be subjected to such treatment?

You deny that these policies are racist, yet at the end of your email, you speak of a ‘proud black hydra’ and ‘white medusas’. You speak of destroying the white medusas! Such rhetoric is clearly racist, and obvious to anyone. Tell me, do the land-grabbers know how to run farms, how to look after farm animals, to plough fields? If not, you’re systematically destroying the very people who feed your country!

Also explain the destruction of printing presses belonging to newspapers that oppose Mr Mugabe’s views, the fact that UN inspectors sent to Zimbabwe to monitor the recent elections were blocked, and the information given on this website: http://www.guardian.co.uk/g2/story/0,36 ... 45,00.html
