Its an all out brawel between the Black Mage of 8-Bit Theater Fame, Gandolf of LOTR Fame pre-bleaching period

Who will win?

The battlefield is a open.... field.

If you can survive falling into a chasm with a Balrog hanging off your leg, you can survive anything.

I'd go so far as to say Gandaly would defeat ripped shirt Kirk with one hand behind his back and the other holding his pipe (full of Shire leaf tobacco, of course).

To play the Advocte has Gandolf ever run into somone devoted to mass destruction and was able to Destroy and Entire Forest with one Blast?

Assuming Black Mage has yet to cast his spell for the day then I would probably have to give him an edge over Gandalf. If he has cast his spell he can always Fighterdoken Gandalf too :D

IIRC Gandalf can not be killed by Mortal weapons, you need some strong magic to do it.

If he can whup a Balrog and still have strength to battle Saruman and his armies, he can do anything. But he might lose against Sauron. But not this whimp.

I am sorry Mr. Bean but I must reconsider as I have recently gotten some information from my brother. Apparently Gandalf is a Demi-God  (One of the LOTR books says it I don't remember which, oh and it's one of the side stories not any of the main four. I'll get back to you on which book). So although the Black Mage does kick ass, I must change my vote to Gandalf. Sorry.

Bah, Galen or Elizar would kick both of their butts.

:P This is a question of Debate fokes, I'm posing a question and playing Advocte
Do you have any Cannon Evidance of Gandolf being able to take Nuclear Detitation type Spells? :D

Also if you remeber I said Pre/Whity Stage this is the Gandolf we know from the start of the LOTR, Pre Balor

The book was Simmerilian (probably spelled wrong), it is based before the Hobbit as a history of ELVES!!!! .
