Kick Ass! It took me three evening of viewing to watch everything on the Extended edition DVD's for FotR, sit back and enjoy, and be sure to watch the documentaries, it explaines alot of what Pete Jackson was doing/thinking when they made changes and the like. Plus the cast commentary is fabulous.

In the CC, the only good people are the hobbits, everyone else is rather boring.

That's because the others didn't become mildly insane during the filming. Its also because there all talking together, while most of the others where alone for the recording.

I believe my sister got the FotR DVD, but I haven't seen it yet. My brother has a good collection of DVDs, such as the Back to the Future Trilogy, AotC, The Rock, and some others.
