Tom Davis happens to be my congressman. Maybe I should write a letter. Then again since I can't vote it won't matter. My mother is a quasi-fundie, and will vote for republicans no matter what. People like her who blindly vote are the people who got Shrubby in office.

While I agree with your central point, that is a broad generalization of people who tend to vote for republicans and/or Bush.
