Frances defeats, greatly over hyped as they are, where almost all the result of incompetent decisions at the highest levels, where politics take precedent of sound strategy all too often in all the worlds militaries.

At battles such as Dien Bien Phu, a major French loss, all too often its ignored that the defeat was solely the result of top level commanders having the base built in the first place, and that no other army given the same resources could have done better. The fact the French kept fighting till they only held a single length of trench and one or two bunkers is also generally ignored. God forbid a western army shouldn't fight to the death for no gain.

I still say France is a disgrace to the Red White and Blue. Their flag should be YELLOW

True on the Jews, though the same can be said for every nation save perhaps Denmark that was occupied by Germany in WW2. The rest is a load of shit. French troops surrender when defeated, the same can be said of every modern army, save the IJA in the mid 40's. Back up your bull or shut up.

So has been claimed, though I've seen no proof presented. The fact that the majority of French railway rolling stock was rendered unusable by railway worker sabotage and the divisions the Resistance kept tied down however is however well established. As is the vital disruption of German telephone communications on June 6th.

France looks out for France in the modern world. Same as every other single nation. Though the fact that the majority of the active French navy's firepower, including there only opeational CV is steaming the the Gulf suggests they may do a 180 at the last minute. They have before.

The fact that they didn't fight a war they couldn't win until the death?
No one with a brain would do so.
