Yup, as soon as VB3 came out, Kier has been tweaking it I think and trying to find a decent time to upgrade. Better late then never I guess.

how long will it take do you think?

Kier said it would take a couple hours. I was talking with him over ICQ this morning and he finally decided to do the upgrade. VB-3 has plenty of new features so Kier is going to kill most of them, then slowly introduce them to the board. Lots of new toys to play with.

I don't post much at SB but yay

Ahh yes. No wonder why I couldn't get in to SB then.
When I tried to get in it asked me for my user name and password and even when I gave it, it still didn't let me in so I was getting worried. But now I know why.

Yes, it is pretty nasty, though the fact that you can do most of the main things at its initial release is quite a plus for Kier's abilities (I think).

Anyway, things'll improve no doubt.

This is actually a beta version, so we'll see lots of changes over the next few months.

The layout has to go back to the original, I simply cannot post properly nor surf right with that monstrosity of a layout. New features are fine and dandy, but apart from the security features I fail to see what's so good about VB3 right now.

I miss the old board (again).

Well, since its Kier's site and he's the lead dude at VBulletin, we won't get back to the old style for a while...he doesn't want to waste all that time making the necessary changes to just do them again when we get the production version up.
