Pat Tillman, the professional football player who joined the Army, may soon be deployed with the 75th Ranger Regiment

Heh, I can see it now.
(announcer) "Oh no! It appears the Iraqi soldier has a grenade. He's going long, long, he throws! Ooohhh, nice form."
"Yeah, as you can see that sort of spiraled pass was meant to be a killing blow that passes the enemy lines, and keeps the defenders distracted. Now what Pats gotta do here is make an inteception and...."
"Oh wait hes going for it, he dives, HES GOT IT!"

75th Ranger is always a phone call away from deployment, just like the 82 airborne division and a few other special units. I don't belive they use a three unit rotation like the 82 does with its Brigades though. With one ready to go anywhere 24 hours at all times.
