I agree that Weaver is a scumbag but does it really justify the murder of his wife and son? I don't think so, and I believe you don't think so either, but it sounds as if you condone this. I'll just chalk it up to a misunderstanding on my part, but I'd like to hear from you since it seems as if you've stopped paying attention to that thread.

What are you talking about? I never said it was OK to kill his wife and son. I did, however, say that only a true asshole would put his family in the line of fire to save his own ass, which is what Weaver did.

To me it sounded like you did, but oh well. I actually agree with you on this one, BTW, and I'll say it again: Weaver basically took a page out from the Starfleet Battle Tactics Handbook
