Play smaller nations in Europa Universalis II

Long time since I played it, so I am asking to anyone who has it. How do I bring up the big list of countries you can play?

Right click on the flags at the nation-choosing screen. Small countries are fun to play. It's always fascinating trying to unify Germany a few centuries early, without getting your ass kicked :)
