A counter to the best boss thread. What video game boss really let you down?
My nomination is the Rock Titan from Kingdom Hearts. He basically stands around while you swipe away and maybe attacks once per battle. No challenge at all, and a real letdown after the grueling fights to get to him.

All of the bosses on Dungeon Siege. Stock up on red potion and hack away at anything.

Final boss for FFX....sorry a battle you cannot lose, might as well been a cinema scene.

I played that game up until meeting Wakka on Spira for the first time. I was upset that well over half of the time it took to get there consisted of cinematics.

Oh damn...those were meant to be bosses?
I nominate mephisto from Diablo 2.....he's a push over....and keeps on giving my characters good stuff.....though he does look nicely demonic and evil.

The last opponent in the Mountain Clans campaing of Disciples II: The Dark Prophecy (the wyrm thing), it is supposed to be so though that you'll need to get some special item that will weaken it before it can be killed, the actualy states that there is no way of winning the fight with out the item. I succeeded in beating the damn wyrn fair and square with just my hero, without the item. Major dissapointment.

Pfft...Diablo wasn't much tougher in the expansion. He hit me three times with the fire ring and once with lightning when I got careless, but other than that he never touched me (though he did kill my shadow twice).

Ganon from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
He looks big, he looks bad, and he carries two swords that are huge even at Zelda standards. He even wields the Triforce of Power!
All this, and he's STILL patheticly easy. Anything in the game can hurt him (I enjoy taking him down with Deku Nuts) and he's way too slow. Somehow I think the Triforce isn't worth its hype...

The end boss of Syphon Filter. A gas grenade, and the guy goes down hard.

ExDeath, Final Fantasy V. Besides having arguably the least personality of any Final Fantasy villain, he's a goddamn tree. Trees do not make for intimidation.

Deidranna from the JA2 game. She doesn't tries to beat the player
and isn't autohostile...

Sephiroth. I mean, I just used Knights of the Round + Quad Magic + Mimic, and that guy was mince meat.

The Dark King in Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest. Sure, it's a baby RPG. Sure, all the bosses are relatively easy, but casting three spells tops on him to kill him is just mad silly.
The other is the original Garland. I WILL KNOCK YOU ALL DOWN!

Super Mario Brothers-Bowser. I don't care. Give me a fucking break. Sadder than that, I found out some of my gamer friends have never beat this game!!!
Quake-God, what was the point?!?

Try him at hell difficulty level in the expansion, unless you have a level 99 character with godly weapons he'll give you enough problems.

Bah.. level 50 burizon can do that.
Worst boss would be Necron from Final Fantasy IX, who just appears out of nowhere after penultimate battle, and has damn annoying music.

Ultrus from FF6(Or 3 stateside) You never get any freken XP and he has the most hell anoying attacks that do nothing but add status ailments to you charaters, then does a shit attack once a month that on avarage you dodge 30% of the time meaning most of the fight consits of three party memebers slowed/blinded/besezerked/confused and maybe silenced just for fun with number 4 trying to restore the rest

I nominate the Dark from Kings Field Ancient City, three slashes with the moonlight sword and he's down, doesn't even attack.

Nah, I could take him with my lvl 80 paladin. I had lvl 24 Conviction and... some attribute I forget, but it gave me about 2000 damage per hit, not including the fact that it was all elemental damage, and that my aura lowered all monsters resistances by 90% and their armor by 200%... and that I had +300% resist all.

Andross from Star Fox 64 was too easy, in my opinion.
