Okay, I am in a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good mood - just found out that I am more than likely NOT diabetic.. But that means I'm probably hyperglycemic (grr). Oh, well.. not being diabetic is a GOOD THING!
I find out on Monday for sure, because there's still a very slim chance that I
am diabetic. Wish me luck, all!

What type? My dad became type 2 and it seems to be pretty managable.

Dunno. But I'm *not* is the point. If I *am* I'll let you know on Monday... and be really depressed..

Good luck. My great-grandmother was Type 1, and my grandmother and father are both Type 2, so I understand how nervous you are. It's a manageable condition, but it requires lifestyle changes. I'm just trying to keep fit since my family is obviously predisposed towards diabetes.

So is mine. o O Go figure. But like I said, its more than likely that I'm not, and just hyperglycemic, which is one helluva lot better than diabetic.

Good luck, and don't worry about being hypoglycemic. I've got that, and it's not a problem at all...it just means you need sugar, which kicks ass.
So is today the Monday you're talking about, or do you need to wait a week?

Fuck, I've just this minute been trying to persuade a girl I know to go to her GP to see if she is diabetic.
Congrats anyway, verilon.

Good luck Ver. I'm still pretty sure you're just hypoglycemic. I know I got the symptoms of both hypoglycemia and diabetes (vast quantities of sugar in the urine, needing insane quantities of sugar to even function, etc.) luckly hypoglycemia is very easy to deal with, just eat a metric buttload of sugar and carbohydrates and you won't notice a thing.
