Man, I just did a google search and couldn't turn up shit. Every site I ran across kept saying 'More to come'. Has anyone found a good reliable article on this game. I know that it's going to be online, other than that, I haven't heard much of anything else. What's going on out there peeps?

I have GT3 and I just popped 250MPH  at the Test Track with a Toyota 3000GT VR-4 with full custom transmission and 1004 hp. Secret: Put the gear ratios all the way to "wide" on the auto-settings slider. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Pfft. I've gotten an Escudo over 1500 MPH. Of course, it requires the wheelie tuning setup, which makes the car even more useless for regular racing, but it's great for long test track runs. My favorite regular car right now is the Skyline (forget which). Nice car. Favorite racing car is the GT40 racer, and my overall favorite is the F/094S.

According to Gamespot, the Japan release of GT4 will be "late 2003."

I don't believe the 1500mph thing. But then again, I didnt believe 300+ at first. I saw the Japan date as late 2k3. Who knows.

My car in all three has been the Dodge Viper. Love that all American rear wheel drive car. In 2 and 3 I usually drive the Oreca Viper. The F1 cars are nice but they wind up boring me after a while. Also, I have the Logitech (gotta love em) wheel. This thing rocks. We need to start posting our lap times for tracks and with what cars.

I just checked my records, and my top speed in the Escudo is 1752.8 mph. However, this requires a very specific setup that appears to be a bug in the game known in GT3 circles as "The Escudo Wheelie Trick." First, get an Escudo with Turbo 4 and an oil change. Then, drop spring rate, ride height, and shock bound and rebound to minimum. Drop all limited-slip to minimum. Move gearing all the way wide. Move FINAL all the way left. Move 1st-5th all the way right. Don't touch 6th. Drop front downforce to minimum, raise rear downforce to maximum (should be 0.38/1.08). Drop ASM and TCS to 0. I've only been able to get to 538.6mph tonight, but I'm not pulling good lines through the corners.

Eww...Viper's got bad handling IMHO. I know some people love it, but that back end's just squirrely for me. I'll check my lap times when I start running. Maybe start a GT3 lap time thread.

Cool...was wondering about that Dark.(1500 mph sounded absurd...but then I remebered that for some reason you could do something to fuck around with the Escudo)

Ah GT3...should fire up that game again one day.

How....??!!!! MACH 2?!?!!? Holy shit! You sure you didn't mean to say "1500HP"?

Hey where do I go to win that GT40? I've been able to kick royal ass with it on GT2.

As for GT4, what system'll it be on? I want my PS2!

From what I have heard, it is more than half done, and should be shown at E3 in May. Barring unforseen problems. And yes, it should be on PS2.

I'll find my book Ein. It's the strat guide that tells you were all the cars are won. It rocks. As far as I know from what little has leaked, GT4 will be on the PS2 and online. That's why I'm so fucking psyched. Some guys at work that race bikes, we used to get on th big screen at the store and run GT after work all the damn time. Now that was a fucking bear to drive. It's not as bad as any of the NFS's or other crap racers out there. heh.

It's on the demo right now, so I'm gonna go fetch a lap time. Grand Valley of course.

That's fucking hilarious.

Well, I'm back. Real quick here's the scenerio.

First off, I go to Arcade Single Race. Then I go to Hard and press L1 R1 so I can get professional. Now, I use my Oreca Viper and run on Grand Valley. That's the only race I do guys. Isn't that a kicker. It's been like that since GT. Grand Valley all the way. Hell yeah. Alright back to the story. It's a 10 lap race with tire wear. It's hell. Not only that, I was inches away from clenching my first victory out of countless races. Here I am, lap 10, tires are going red, the R390 GT1 LM Race Car is often in the lead, well, this time I blew past the pits as it was pulling out. The tight s turn is some crafy driving and I'm good at it. Well, I should have seen this comeing. The computer dicked me over. The R390 nailed me. It's only racing, but still. I lost by just over a second. I probably would not have beaten it by the straightaway anyways, but still. I couldn't keep the speed in the turn it sucked. Inches away from victory. Oh well.

Track: Grand Valley
Car: Dodge Viper Oreca edition
Best time: 1:48 and some shitty nanoseconds.

I should really do a free run or something for a hard time, but screw it. 1:48 in race conditions. Far cry from the original's 1:23 I've seen pulled. Heh. Just goes to show the realism has gotten better and better. You can really feel the cars driving different as each game comes out.
