Just FYI, I've enabled theme selection. The default theme has been changed to a modified BlackSoul theme, since it's lower-bandwidth. You can select your theme in your user profile screen. I plan to add an LCARS theme too, for the Trekkies.

Which one is LCARS?

I haven't put the LCARS one in yet. For now, I thought it would be good to put in BlackSoul because it's an excellent theme, and it also uses up less bandwidth than MilleniumFalcon. But I've found a low-bandwidth LCARS theme too, and I plan to customize that with my site logo and then upload it soon.

Dammit the forum keeps changing theme on me because it's cached in my temp files.

After using the new theme for a while, I think I should have been using it all along. It's definitely a better theme, and the fact that it's lower-bandwidth is just a bonus. The way it handles quoted text is much better.

I like BlackSoul, too.

The only problem with it that I see is that links in quoted text turns invisible.

I still like the Millenium Falcon better. That neon green is an eye sore.

Neither must use up all that much bandwidth, I'm on a 56K connection and the pages always load instantly for me. I guess it should help prevent the server from being overloaded again though. But I like Falcon a lot more. .

I like the new one. It didn't even take long to get used to.

Just FYI: I added an LCARS style for the Trekkie fanatics. All those who want to see that ubiquitous Federation GUI in yet another place can get their fix now

You shouldn't be surprised, Mr. Bean. The LCARS theme was designed for people who still can't get enough of the same goddamned Federation GUI after 7 years of TNG, 7 years of DS9, and 7 years of Voyager. In other words, Trekkie masochists. You should have expected pain

Hm. I'm actually using the LCARS theme; it's fairly clean, from a graphical point of view.

On the other hand, the LCARS theme that somebody made for Mozilla...

OW!!!! Oh MAN that silver is a shock to the eyes! I like the Falcon best, easily.

I use the Falcon myself. I'm just very used to it now. Someone was mentioning that the other themes are easier on the boards. Which ones are the best (for Mr. Wong's sake) over the Falcon, I'll consider switching.

Don't worry about it; I switched the boards to a separate host, so I don't have any bandwidth problems right now.

The TNG LCARS interface always repulsed me with it's color scheme... those icky oranges and yellows.

...though, from reading Bean's posts, it sounds like there's... PINK?
