A.I. DVD Question

I just got the A.I. DVD and was wondering if anybody knows whether there is supposed to be any sound at the beginning when the Dreamworks logo plays?
And to have this thread have a meaning, what did you think of the movie? I heard some people didn't like the ending.

There is no sound for the Dreamworks logo.
I liked the movie, and the ending made me cry.

The ending turned a perfectly decent Kubrick film into a typically shite Spielberg film.

While I usually enjoy Spielberg films, I do agree that the ending was crap (and typically Speilberg, though that sometimes works well)

The movie was pretty good...
But the game before the movie was freaking AWESOME.

All: Thanks for the answer.

Oh yes. It's long since over, now, but there is still a
record of what happened. It was really amazing stuff. I stumbled on to it about partway through, because I didn't even have a TV to catch the initial trailers where the first hints were being dropped.
Hmm...it would appear that the puppetmasters have started a new game. Damn, there goes the rest of my free time.
Edit: Bah. Already started and over before I even knew what was going on. Damn.

Ah, that game. I thought you meant a video game or something. I remember that, with the highlighted characters in the trailers and stuff.

That game was awesome. Frankly, I think I enjoyed it a bit more than the movie, but hey.

I liked how it ended. However the rest of the movie fucking sucked. I sat there the whole time, reminding myself that I was missing a second showing of Tomb Raider for this shit. Poor me.

Now I thought that was a movie that ended three scenes too late. It should've ended with the android kid looking at the sunken city artifact. But noooooo, stupid Spielberg had to drag it out and and SGAs to boot!

Well, I just finished the movie.
I agree GMT, about it finishing late, to an extent. The ending seemed kind of tacked on and there to end the starting plotline. And to enforce an artificial sense of melodrama, enter technobabble. They could have done that ending better, or finished it with him stuck in the ice, it would have flowed better with the overall sense of melancholy in the movie.
But overall, it was pretty good.

Does anybody else think that Teddy would make the perfect degenerate. He sounded evil when he said "I'm not a toy." And with his voice and attitude I can just imagine him stumbling around dragging around an empty beer bottle.

AHHHHH
DONT DISS THE MASTER! ALL HAIL THE GREAT BEARDED ONE! :: has Waynes World moment :
As to the Dreamworks question, on A.I. no it doesnt have any sound, but on most Dreamwork films they do have the start up music. Just see Shrek, or Minority Report. Personally I loved the film, and it too made me cry, but as for a shit ending, I think not. That was the ending Krubic wrote, that was the ending in the film.

You thought A.I. was crap, and yet you wanted to see Tomb Raider AGAIN???
