Just in time for Valentine's Day..... how to say "I Love You" in several
languages....

English: I Love You
Spanish: Te Amo
French: Je T'aime
German: lch Liebe Dich
Japanese: Ai Shite Imasu
Italian: Ti Amo
Chinese: Wo Ai Ni
Swedish: Jag Alskar

IIRC, in Japan, ai is considered rather strong, and that, unless you are really in love with someone, it is better to use suki - like, or daisuki - really like.

(innutovik is the launguage of the eskimoes)

Finnish: Minä rakastan sinua.
Swedish: Jag älskar dig (you need that last word, it denotes the object of your love)

Notice the umlauts (in truth the 28th letter of the alphabet in our languages)...

I think that, seriously, anal would say "I love you" better than oral. Anal sex, for the receiver, generally requires far more trust and comfort with the giver than oral. In order to be good, anyway.

XaLEv, you're basically right about Japanese. It would basically be suki desu or daisuki desu, if you were telling someone you love them*. Ai is used to express a deeply sexual and passionate kind of love, IIRC, and I haven't heard it that much in anime and such.


*For those not knowing how to pronounce Japanese, those are said as "ski-dess" and "die-ski-dess", basically.

"Je t'aime" basically means "I like you," which is nice and all, but "je t'adore" is more appropriately "I love you."
