It also doesn't hurt to watch the size of pics that you are posting. They can force the format to widen. Not only that, it kills us low speed connection users.

Also, do NOT quote pictures. If you feel you must quote pictures, PLEASE do so such that you quote the URL. It is a pain in the royal ass to have to wait for the same picture to load more than once.

If your browser downloads a pic more than once just because it's linked more than once, get another browser. Decent browsers will download the pic once and replicate it into each inline image element.


And while we're on the subject of posting pictures, pure pictures threads are more at home in the artwork and photos fourm anyway.

It DOES happen to be a 56K....Now what I mant was it is a royal pain in the arse to have someone quote a pic from one page on another page and it takes forever for it to be up again. This is from personal experience. Damned servers...

Your suggestions are all good, and I will consider them additions to the policy. In the future, though, please ask me or another mod before posting what should and shouldn't be done
