Please help test new provider

OK, I'm planning to switch to a new provider. I've duplicated this entire board on the new provider for test purposes, and I would appreciate it if you guys get on there and start spamming it like crazy to make sure it works OK.
If it does, then I'll freeze this board, update that one to match this one, and then make the switch.

EDIT: please note that this second board is ONLY A TEST. While it looks like this one, its contents will be erased and replaced with this one when I make the switch.

Took four tries for me to log in after a longer then usual loading time. Spamming commencing now.

I logged in on the first try.
Problem noted: the icon for 'new posts' does not go from yellow to white after viewing the thread. (I'm using milleniumfalcon)

They're pretty darn fast for me but then again so are these ones.

After a few non scientific tests… Its also forcing me to log back in manually every time I come back, despite the auto log in being checked off every time. I give this new software a failing grade. No performance increase that I can notice, if anything it's slower for some tasks despite having maybe four people active, and the log in thing is very annoying.

Agreed. If our current board is a 10, this one rates maybe a 4.5.

I can't even log in period, Typing in my SD.Net password which has remain unchanged says incorrect password and password renewal does not work either
Based on the fact I can't log in at all I'd give it a 0 out of 10

I can log in fine. Don't see any significant difference in speed between the two. Doesn't mark threads read after viewing though.

Had no problems logging in, but getting the same problem regarding the viewed thread. Spamming commencing as planned...

Did the bandwidth police finally catch up with you, Mike?

Just started a new thread and it took at least thirty seconds to post.

Well, I've been told that my bandwidth requirements have "outgrown" my current provider
In any case, I discovered a configuration error with the new provider, which may explain the login problems people were having. Let me know if it's working better now.
PS. When screwing around on the new board, just make sure you are, in fact, on the new board and not this one!

That might have been because David's been going hog-wild and he deleted a few thousand posts. Please let me know if this kind of problem recurs. I may yet decide not to adopt this new provider if their system is unreliable or slow.

I just added the SSL URL (see the 1st post in the thread).

Yes, I've seen. No such problems anymore.

I just made an Enterprise NX1 Vs the Empire thread.
I checked it at least five times before posting
Would have been bad for my health.
On topic, I haven't noticed any problems or delays with the forum, and I've been both posting a lot and moderating.

Got a couple of errors saying that I couldn't create another post so soon after I did the first one (Sorry I didn't get the exact message)

OK, Xalev and Rob Wilson and Colonel Olrik now have supermod power on the test board. Unleash your power!
PS. Rob, you were online when I fixed the cookie config. Maybe if you drop out, clear your browser cache and cookies, and log in again, things will start working properly.
