I HAVE A NEW CAR!
Ok, it's new to me.
1998 Rav4 L 4WD. Green. Has just over 40,000 miles on it.
I actually got my Valentine's present... the one I wanted.

Nice car. If you ever need a long distance lift, I think I can arrange something using one of my rides.

Don't insult people's height. Anyway, I congratulate you on your new means of transport. Drive safely!

Nice vehicle. Good cargo room and it still has decent gas mileage. You're one lucky lady, Miss Antilles .

On a RAV4? That's actually a rather amusing thought. But seriously, it's a great little vehicle, useful for errands and hauling stuff. And it's also economical (definitely a big plus nowadays.) Good choice.Sr.mal wrote:Coolness. Now be a good Kitsune and don't make the tires go bald by having fun off-road.

Woohoo, babe, that's awesome! And a fabulous colour as well! You need to go out and get one of those "new car" scented air fresheners for it!!

Gotta run over to Hot Topic and grab the Autobot Floor mats and steering wheel cover.

Cool! Congrats, and have you "broken it in" yet? Ahem, I mean, since it is a Velentine's Day present, it should be a Steel Lovemobile before too long....
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!

Cool, I happen to really like the looks of the RAV4. Trade you a 92 jimmy for the RAV.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong
But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red

Yep, that's why we got a Toyota. We traded in our '89 Celica that had 147,000 on it. My sister had a Previa, '91 I think, with 235,000 on it before she sold it. Needed shocks which were more expnsive than the car is worth.Col. Crackpot wrote:Toyotas rock! you can drive them forever and they never die. good luck with it
