I have been talking to several of the gay members of the board and it seems that there is need for a wee section of the board devoted to the gay/bi members of the board. The ladies on the board got their own forum and i believe it is going very well so why not a Gay Forum.

Not realy, A Gay forum servers no purpose, Will you talk about "Gay issues of the day" Will you you complain about a lack of gay people?

No you do that out here, The Female only forum servers a purpose for the various females on the forum, After all if Kelly started a thread titled "Best Female Hygene products, the avarage male would run very fast in the other direction and not stop

It serves plenty of purpose. For a start when we get involved in certain sex threads we seem to freak out certain members. How many times do we see the words "Einy thats too much Information".

Notice how most sexualy related threads outside of BOTM are deleted? There's a reason, you can't do that outside of BOTM anyway so creating a new forum where you could agian serves no purpose

I have to agree with Bean on this one. A womens forum is logical because they have womenly stuff to talk about, stuff that testosterone gushing males as us would be rather uncomfortable talking about. A gay forum serves no purpose because last time I checked, the only difference between a gay male and an ordinary male is that one likes women and one likes males, past that they're the same depraved loonies that every male is (exempting me of course

On the part of sexual threads, some people take it to far to make any sexual orientation be rather "plegh" (anyone remember Darth Cav and his... unique views of sexual material...) There is nothing that a gay male could really talk about that ordinary males couldn't talk about (gay males talk about anal, Mike Wong talks about anal...). Its just pointless to make a private forum for it.

Ack, sorry about that. My mind is in swirls right now because I'm trying to finish an essay, do calculus, and voice an opinion. Damn, now I sound like an ass when that wasn't what I was going for. I apologize to anyone who may have been offended by that, that was a mistake of wording on my part. But all told, I still don't believe that we need a homosexual forum.

(And now back to writing about, in all ironies, gender segregation... I feel like putting a hole in the wall with my head...)
