Arizona gun law change???

I doubt this will completely pass since the anti-gun whiners will jump on it now that it's half-way to being law but it's still interesting considering the way guns are being attacked in the rest of the country.
Today the Arizona State House of Representatives passed a law that would change the penalty for carrying a concealed firearm without a permit (It still needs to pass the State Senate).
Instead of 6 months in jail it would be a $50 dolar fine.
Big difference!
Actually, it isn't that hard to get a concealed carry permit in Arizona. Pretty much you just take the class and pay for the permit.
Besides that, a lot of Arizona is pretty liberal with non-concealed carry. I've seen people wear cowboy-style holstered weapons into the supermarket. It has been awhile though since this was before so many chain stores started posting weapons free signs.
