God gazes down upon the earth and sees a marine rowing a boat down a river. God listens closely and hears " row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream....."

Now God has heard all about Marine discipline and wonders " What if I take out one quarter of his brain? Will he keep rowing?"

So God takes out 1/4 of the Marine's brain. When he looks again, to his suprise, the Marine hasn't skipped a beat! As he listens he hears once again " row, row, row your boat........"

So God wonders to himself, " What if I remove anothe two quarters of his brain?" So God snaps his fingers and takes out all but 1/4 of the marine's brain.

He gazes down, and is shocked to see the marine has, once again, not skipped a beat or stopped rowing. He very impressed at this point. So he wonders to himself, " what if I take out all of his brain?" So god removes all of the marine's brain!

God listens and watches closely. Lo and behold the marine has stopped! The marine looks around quite puzzled, but finally takes back up the rowing. As God listens he hears the marine quitly singing to himself


"Be, all that you can be, in the Army....."

I told this to a marine friend in the Air Force base gym, unfortunetly the military has moved several hundred army people to the base because of the ME situation. Imagine the look on my face when I turned around and saw a dozen army people walk in ( all gorilla size mind you.)
