according to google maps, epicenter not far from LAX. My dog unhelpful in predicting event.

Felt it here in Irvine as well.

It was about a 5.0 quake in the greater los angeles area. The epicenter was about 8 miles deep. I felt a pretty strong jolt but I think I was more startled by people screaming than the actual quake.

I didn't feel a thing in the Bay Area, but that's hardly surprising.

Felt it quite keenly here between santa ana and fountain valley. Started out quiet, jolted with a Shaker, then died down with a gentle roller.

so that's what them damn Canis Latrans were all talking about. I thought it was something else.
