Man, I really can't believe the stupidity of some people. I was waiting for the bus when this happened. The bus was running a bit late as usual, and this stupid woman was walking out into the middle of the busy street to see if she could see the bus coming. Now I can understand if if she went out on the street one or 2 times, but the stupid bitch kept running out and standing on the middle of the road every 10 seconds, and she must've run out over 10 times! Nevermind the fact that drivers were honking at her to get the fuck off the road, she kept going out there to look down the street in hopes of seeing the bus while completely ignoring the traffic. Well, after a bunch of trips out on the road her luck ran out and she got smacked by a car, unfortunately she wasn't Darwined. She did get some pretty nasty injuries from what I could tell as she was semi-conscious and in great pain and barely moving. Funny part is the bus arrived about 2 minutes after she got hit by the car. Goddamn, some people are fucking stupid beyond belief.

Sounds like she was probably a little slow.

If ever I heard of a situation that called for a Nelson laugh, that's it.

My uncle got hit on two seperate occasions in the same cross walk. The first time almost killed him and it was months of recovery. The second time I had to roll my eyes. His attitude is that cars should see him. WTF?

Oh yeah, both times he crossed the intersection against the signal.

How in THE FUCK is runing out into traffic supposed to make the bus show up faster????

I hope the driver didnt get in trouble. The police and ambulance guys should have just left her to be run over.

Well, no mention of this incident on the news, which was rather disappointing as I wanted to see some interviews and hear what the witnesses had to say.

I didn't get to see the cops or ambulance since I did have a bus to catch and a mid-term exam to write, so I didn't get to be interviewed or anything. If it weren't for the mid-term I woulda stuck around to see them load her into an ambulance and I'd also have some interesting things to say if any TV crews showed up. I'll be checking the newspapers tomorrow to see if anything shows up there.

Well, that's one less moron walking the earth. If she's at the hospital, will she be put in a glass room so everyone can look in and point and laugh at her? I mean, she was quite stupid, and I laughed my ass off after reading that.

Yup, that's exactly what I did. If some stranger wants to be stupid and off herself playing chicken with cars I honestly don't give a fuck. And by the way I'm not "bitching" about it, I'm sharing the story because I found the event to be so incredibly stupid that it was hilarious.

If some person got whacked by a car while crossing with the lights at an intersection, I'd be the first one to help, but if someone wants to play the equivalent of Russian Roulette with traffic, that's too bad for them.
