Spawning.

So, um. Yeah. Me and my bro (that being Dalton) also have a sister who as you may or may not know is preggo. But she's about to not be, because right now the fetus is in the mood for some fresh air. Poor thing, about to be locked out of his house.

So, on the topic, while we wait for the stork to peck our eyes out, does anyone here know anyone else who is spawning? Know what it's like to have spawned? Anyone?

A. Your strange.
B. *poke*
C. I have a nephew, and grew up around hordes of children. They're funny.

My friend Joe's wife was due last Monday and hasn't popped yet. The doctors are giving her until this Monday before they decide to induce her, so hopefully it'll happen naturally over the weekend. I had lunch with the two of them today and she appeared to be approximately 73% baby, so I hope it happens soon, otherwise I swear she'll burst like a bubble.

Oh, and hi. I'm going to scamper off to your hello thread and say hi properly over there. :D

You speak oddly stranger.

Two of my friends had baby girls 1 day apart. They are both around 8 months now. Ive grown very close to one of them as I help babysit her.

Do puppies count? I've raised lots of puppies, but they tend to do as they're told...

Roger, understand. I'll inform Grey Six, but I doubt he'll draft another intro memo for her intro thread...

I was right there for both of my sons when they met the world. It's a terrifying and exhilarating thing at the same time. I never anticipated how much fear there would be: will my wife suffer complications? Will she have to get an emergency C-section? Will she be one of the tiny minority of women who still die during childbirth? Will the baby be stillborn? A lot of terrible thoughts course through your head throughout the process.

I still remember cradling their little bodies in my arms. They're so delicate and fragile and helpless when they're first born. It really gives you an appreciation for your sacred duty as a parent, to protect them and keep them from harm.

Kat, you are one strange ranger, I really dig that in a person.
No one I know has bred in the last couple years. Seems with friends it's ALWAYS a surprise, and an unpleasant one at that.
My friend and his GF come home, go staight to his bedroom, and talk heatedly for 45 minutes without ever turning on the light. She leaves without so much as saying boo to me, and comes back carrying a drugstore sack. I think to myself, "Oh shit, she's pregnant!" Then the bawling started...
Later that night she tells me I'm irresponsible for wearing shorts when it's 35 degrees, I had to bite my tongue in mentioning the irresponsibility of fucking without birth-control.
