One of our local pet shops had a minah bird that could not only unlock its own door, but the doors of all the other birds in the place as well. It was doing it to get in and get the food in their cages. The owner would come in every morning and see all the birds flying loose (except the wing-clipped ones, and their cage doors were still open). He finally borrowed a video camera and caught the miscreant bird on tape. After that he padlocked its cage at night.
