Uh, people usually post the link.

www.megatokyo.com

And you're right, that is a big gun. And of course, made by Sony.

I know what Megatokyo is, but I didn't know what he was talking about until I checked back there just now.

And yes, it is a huge gun. Too bad Ping-chan blasted him off with "Mr. Turtle".

I think the guy was Ed.

Yeah, Ed's head clipped that concrete collumn in the school nurse's office by Ping, hence the bag.

Talk about overcompensation...

Looks like a crappified RPG with lots of unnecessary weight tacked on.

Edit: I thought he meant Role Playing Game, not Rocket-Propelled Grenade... Sorry.

I'd more say some kind of uber-sniper rifle, or perhaps a laser...

An RPG? as a rifle? What are you smoking?

To be truthful it looks amazingly like the "standard issue big gun" from Ghost in the Shell.

Except in the second to last panel you can see how thin it is, like a regular gun.

It's got the word "Sony" on it. Think about it.

Actually it would've been more relevant if it had said "Microsoft" on that gun instead of Sony.

Looks like it as a clip near the butt, suggesting rifle. Could be a battery or something, though.

Gah, Shin, you don't need to fucking quote yourself. Just make an edit in the first post.

Looks kinda like a machine-gun to me, with that tripod... Could be a sniper rifle, as suggested by the scope.

Railgun? :P

Or a laser rifle. Remember Akira?

I doubt it would be a machine-gun. Wouldn't need a scope if it was.

And tripods are for sniper rifles as well.

Might be a railgun, or laser rifle. Or some other particle beam rifle.

You do realize they produce 6000 RPM miniguns with scopes right? Not to mention carbines, handguns, assault rifles and many other non sniper weapons, right? No I thought not.

And you don't use tripods for sniper rifles, you use a bipod. Tripods are normally found on large crew served weapons like the M2 or Mk.19.

Tyr Anasazi routinely carries around equally large guns. However, a robot chick with a shrunken force lance always manages to outdo him in kill count. Must be a shot to the ego for the uber bitch. :p

Don't make me laugh. Everyone knows that when the Japanese make uber-guns, they're always lasers. :P

Do miniguns look like that? Do carbines? Do handgunes? Do assault rifles? No.

And if you don't think you're going to use a tripod, take a look at the size again.

WTF. You argue it's not a machine gun because it has a scope. I point out that weapons of all types can and often do have scopes. Your reply is that it doesn't look like one of those. How the fuck does that change the fact that weapons of all types use scopes?

And if you don't think you're going to use a tripod, take a look at the size again.
I see no tripod and the weapon being fired from the shoulder. I'm also seeing somthing not much larger then the RPG-29, which also happens to be shoulder fired.

Now that I think about it, it looks like a giant G11 anyway.

Skimmer, look at the part of the gun resting on the edge of the building, it's on some kind of bi/tripod support.

It also looks like nothing but either a super sniper rifle, or some kind of laser/beam gun.
