A 500 meter long solid titanium cyllinder attached to an array of thrusters, and some form of FTL to make it go really fast for really short periods of time.

Sounds like something one time use only... Depends what it's used against. If you've got really maneuverable enemy ships, then you're in trouble.

I forgot, isn't titanium supposed to be brittle? One shot deal most likely. Missles would probably be better.

What's daft.

Anyways, titanium is a bad idea. Too costly. Maybe just plain solid steel, with a core of depleted uranium. Still a dumb idea.

Titanium sucks for such a task.

Nuke would be better. What's daft mean? Anyways it would be cheaper just to add the thrusters to an existing asteroid- I'm assuming you are using this for bombardment- though nukes would be better.

Be cheaper to strap engines to an asteroid the size of the Armageddon one (and hope a misfit crew of oil platform workers don't show up with a nuke :) )
