Are there any other pacifists out there? I don't want a debate, I just want to know.

I'm obviously not a pacifist, as I have blown up Iraqi radar installations...

Somewhat pacifist. I consider war to be primitive but at times necessary.

I like the idea of Pacifism. But unfortunately there are too many aggressive bullies out there to make it worth while at the moment. When i was 19 i tried to be a Pacifist and out side a bar i got my nose broke by a guy trying to sneak my Taxi home off me. As a pacifist my only act was to bleed on him and hope it caused him to feel guilty.

Pacifism isn't a good stance for a major world power, but neither is the stance of the agressor.

Your opening post doesn't say "no comments please"
So Bean's within his rights, twit.
And I'm not a pacifist.

Looking for pacifists in a Star WARS vs Star Trek site.
Uber weapons, exploding planets, ect. are the main grist for the mill, and you are looking for pacifists.
Prediction:
There will be as many pacifists as Rabid Fundies, plus 2, on this site.
I thought this would be a debate, but the humour has taken me out of my game.
I'm sorry, but it seems so, so, so,
You have brightened my day, thank you.

Uhmmmmmmmmm you're welcome? And I didn't mean pacifists as far as debates, but as far as big events, such as war and whatnot. But you're probably right anyhow.

I thought it better to answear the question by providing abit of info, Utopia is not nessary for Pacifism
The problem with it as I've noted before is that the only time Passifism works is when no one relizes its is
Its within the human nature to drive and surive, to conquer and procrate and violence just happens to be one of the most often used tools to achive it

I am not a pacifist. I certainly do not revel in war, but I believe it is often a necessary recourse.

Definitely not a pacifist.
War is Hell, but a very necessary evil as long as there's an enemy of Freedom, Life, and Liberty.

I'm no pacifist. I'm a crazy war mongering bastard who wants too rule the word. Not to mention I also post on Sw vs. ST site.

I'm not pacifist. I'm no fan of war, but when shit happens, sometimes thats how it has to be played out.

I'm a pacifist sometimes. Other times I'm a moderate. Or just apathic and don't care. Sometimes I adopt a "Kill everyone and everything" type of theme. I alternate between these and many others randomly and quickly depending on what my mood is. Sometimes even listening to a different song can put me on a different tangent.

Well, I'm not a pacifist but I'm not a war mongerer.

Here is a question. How many of you here are either A) going to be involved in this war, or B) Have family in the war.
I myself have a cousin who is an ensign in the infantry

In response to Cpt_Cyran's question:
A.) Last time I checked, the US Armed Forces weren't intereted in enlisting 14 year old boys, but I could be wrong.
B.) AFAIK, no.

No, and no. However, this does not change the fact that war is sometimes a necessary thing.
As Verilon does not wish this to turn into a debate, if it is going to, would a mod please split the thread?

I completely agree that war is occasionally a neccesary thing. I'm just curious as to how many people have family in the war, not trying to make a point about people with no family in the war being all for the war blah blah etc. etc.
