Ken Akamatsu is starting a new manga series. This is the site where I first found out about it. Look at the way bottom:

And I think Google search might turn up some info about it too.

Magical boy, huh? That's not something you see everyday. Should be interesting, if nothing else.

Not to mention there are now not six, but THIRTY females that can closely "associate" with the male lead.

And can we all say "Harry Potter influence" for Ken Akamatsu?

I'll say this, though that new series hasn't gone far enough yet: Love Hina had a MUCH more interesting and original premise.

I hate to sound like the unanointed, what is Love Hina about really?

Wow. This takes the "female harem" genre to a whole new level.

It's about love........and tests, and jealousy, and humor, and struggle, and the impact of the past, and the search for one's own purpose in life, and....there's probably a dozen or so other themes in there. :)

And that's just the manga. The anime goes on another completely different tangent in terms of philosophy.
