Its on right now, so is it still canseled and their just playing filler, or did FOX reconsider.

The show is relatively easy enough and cheap enough to produce that they had a backlog of episodes to air. So even though they might have stopped making new episodes they still have older ones to air.

The one airing now appears to be new. But that doesnt mean it wasn't made last year.

Fox really is the stupidest entity in entertainment.

What is it about Fox and good shows!? Every time they have a good show they always cancel it the first chance they get!

They canceled it once in mid season then brought it back the next. But the most recent canceling appeared to be finnal. It was announced months ago.

Nothing coming out soon, probably not for a while given it's jus t hitting syndication and Cartoon Network seems to be toying with the possibility of reviving it.

There are Region 2 Futurama DVD boxsets in the UK.

I hope they don't replace it with anything like "Bachelor part 2: This time it's a THREESOME" or anything like that. It's one thing to cancel a great show, but to spit on its grave in such a manner like they did with the X-Files (yes, I realize that their last seasons sucked, but it was still a good show) is unacceptable.

I hate the way the X-Files starting dying, I lost all manner of watching it by season 5, prior to that it was a great show.

Well I don't watch TV that much.

Incidently, where do you find out if a show has been canceled? I hate finding out about things like this by reading it on the board.

in an effort to get it removed from the chopping-block. The petition has garnered more than 150,000 signatures, already, so you may as well throw your weight behind it if the show is important to you.

If the reruns get good ratings, Cartoon Network might pay for new episodes.

I hope so but they could do like for Star Trek TOS and instead of doing more episodes for tv,they might do a couple of movies.

I saw one episode, with nixon coming back and running for president. funniest thing I ever saw.

The US, last I'd heard the DVDs weren't due out for quite a while. Maybe I've been misinformed.

We're talking about US DVDs. For some reason the US almost always gets TV shows later than the rest of the English speaking world.

In the UK at least the first season box set has been out since last January and season two came out in early November.

In the US season one will come out on DVD in a box set at the end of March.
