Strowbridge is an egomaniac.

Kynes is proficient in degrading the following people to the point that they'd be grateful to be considered pond scum in his eyes: Guardian2000/DarkStar/Robert Scott Anderson and Jonathon Boyd.

The ASVS Master. He takes the votes of registered denizens, when we vote on changes to the Rules and Regulations. The de facto head of the R&R triumvirate, a status of no power and little responsibility. Other than that, he's an egotist, a Star Wars supporter, and a very funny fellow.

The R&R Maintainer, in charge of updating the Rules and Regulations website. He is also a virulent Star Wars supporter, viciously funny and excellent at writing flames, and is possessed of a burning hatred for one Johnathon Boyd.

Go from there to the FUQ, to the Famous Quotes archive, and search under "Kynes" in the author space. You will get 60+ quotes of him joking, mocking, and delivering bone crushing flames.

As near as I can tell, he's one of the very first people who ever posted to ASVS. As such he holds a position of respect and glory, for being the earliest geek on the scene. Functionally, he's a Sith Cyborg in stormtrooper armor, hates trolls, and writes a mean fanfiction review.

Stowbridge is an ASVS demigod

Kynes is also an ASVS demigod who likes Slate.com. Slate.com sucks ass, and although Kynes be a demigod, he can kiss mine if he complains about me not liking Slate.com

I actualy visited ASVS BEFORE starting this thread. The sheer smackdown unleashed by Kynes and Strowbridge prompted me to ask about them.

And the LT. is my new personal hero. (Long live the fanfic reviews!)

What happened to the Lt and Kynes? I think I saw a Strowbridge somewhere, but how about the others? I know SirNitram used to be a regular (I think), but was Mike Wong a regular as well?

There are surprisingly high numbers of ASVS regulars who seem to have been sucked into this board. Like me, for instance. Though I'm not that regular, given that at my peak, I only make 50 posts a month.

You can check when people began posting on ASVS via my site
www.skayhan.net/ASVS_HN.htm under the heading "Hall of Fame Threads.....". For many of the "Great Old Ones" like Wong or Poe, you will see alot of cross-posting from other newsgroups early on.

If you research the posting histories, you can see that when Mike says he's seen these arguments made by trekkies a thousand times, he is NOT exaggerating.

The LT is quite prolific at the moment. Kynes is apparently at home and won't be posting until he gets back to college. Strowbridge is posting too. Nitram is still a regular. Mike used to be a denizen too until he built his site.

Most of them have at least one entry in the Famous Quotes database.

Quess is now part of the Hitman continuity, she originally showed up in Hitman's fanfic challege write a Hitman traveling through Hell story. Which was won by me since I had the only entry.

Then she appeared in Diet of a Sith Lord.

Basicly she's a teenage (Now legal tender having just turned 18)half Demon Chick, that works for the L.T. Like her master she has some force powers, unlike her master she can also toss "Balefire" which has about the explosive force of a good WP grenade, and instantly consumes most living things that it hits. Oh when not using a glamour she has little horns, bat wings, and fanged teeth.

Other stats
hair: Red
Eyes: Green unless pissed off (Then they tend to glow with hellish light)
Height: 5'9"
Weight: Were afraid to ask her, but she was under nurished when Hitman dragged her back from Hell.
Bust: of size usually reserved for Jeri Ryan, and Anime females
Waist: too thin to be supporting the above
Hips: Sir Mix a lot would go SPriong

Occupation: Former Sex slave, turned Nanny and Sith Apprentice.
